Prepaid Card

The Netspend® Prepaid Mastercard3 is available as a disbursement option for your clients. 

1. A Refund Transfer is a fee-based product offered by Republic Bank & Trust Company, Member FDIC. A Refund Transfer Fee and all other authorized amounts will be deducted from the taxpayer’s tax refund. Pricing and rebates vary by software.

2. An ERO office will receive a rebate of $10 for each Netspend Card, up to 10 (ten) cards, or $15 if the office volume is 11 (eleven) or greater, for all cards issued and funded by a Refund Transfer with at least $50 between January 1, 2025 - May 31, 2025 (the “promotional period”). This offer is from Republic Bank & Trust Company. Not all software providers participate in the rebate program. Netspend or Visa are not affiliated in any way with this offer and do not endorse or sponsor this offer.

3. The Netspend Prepaid Mastercard is issued by Republic Bank & Trust Company, Member FDIC pursuant to a license from Mastercardc. Ouro Global, Inc. is a registered agent of Republic Bank & Trust Company. This card may be used everywhere debit Mastercards are accepted. Card use is subject to activation, ID verification, and funds availability. Transaction fees, terms, and conditions apply to the use and reloading of the Card Account. 4. EROs must be enrolled for Republic Bank's Refund Transfer Program and meet prior year funding and loan loss requirements to offer the December Dollars Advance. Cost to ERO per approved December Dollars Advance will be deducted from ERO tax preparation fees and cannot be passed to the taxpayer. If approved, a Finance Charge will apply to the Taxpayer.
Net Refund refers to the taxpayer’s expected refund amount after deduction of all fees. Please check with your software provider for availability as some options may not be offered. All information is as of June 2024 and is subject to change.


5. Taxpayer is not obligated to apply for an Easy Advance if they return to the office. The Easy Advance pre-qualified offer made by Republic Bank & Trust Company is non-transferable. Applicant must be recipient of offer, be over 18 years of age (19 in AL and NE), have a physical address in the U.S. and present acceptable collateral of a sufficient expected federal refund minus authorized fees. Approval is not guaranteed and is dependent on Republic’s verification that you the taxpayer continues to satisfy the pre-qualified offer criteria including verification of a sufficient federal tax refund, verification of identity and verification that you the taxpayer has not applied for other tax refund related loans.

6. ERO must be enrolled for Republic Bank’s Refund Transfer Program to offer the Easy Advance programs. Cost to ERO per approved Easy Advance, if any, will be deducted from ERO tax preparation fees and cannot be passed to the taxpayer. If a customer does not choose a Refund Transfer, disbursement options are direct deposit or prepaid card. Net Refund refers to the taxpayer’s expected refund amount after deduction of all fees. Please check with your software provider for availability as some options may not be offered. All information is as of June 2024 and is subject to change.

7. Easy Advance Plus losses in excess of 4% may result in forfeiture of ERO incentives. Incentives are calculated on May 31st each year.

8. There will be a charge to the ERO for each approved preACK Easy Advance.
